Teacher's Pet

In my class, we have two teacher's pets a day. They are the class helpers and line leaders - it's a big deal. I made chair covers with 'pet' fabric awhile ago and they were a little worn out. Daisy and I made a bunch of new covers. These covers are for pretend pets. Everyone knows you can't have a whale or a shark for a pet!
These three are dogs covers. They even had Wheaties!
These are for birthdays when you are automatically the 'teacher pet'...we call them 'birthday pets'.

  2. Daisy what a special treat for your mom's students! Such positive fun...and it makes each day an adventure! Has your mom ever heard of me bags? We have a young friend who just started kindergarten. Her mom posted about me bags on her blog!

  3. My Aunty D was a Kindergarten teacher for like 87 years. She is retired now. She used to make chair back covers wiff a pocket for folders. She had special jobs like line leaders too. My mom used to help out (volunteer) in her class. Dat was before I was born so I didn't get to help out. I love your pet covers.

  9. Your covers are so cute really really nice!!! Good for you Daisy and Mom!!!
Most people can not tell a boy coon from a girl coon!!! Period!!! They have the same fur and coat that is very much a like! I have had a close relationship with coons for over 25 years and know them very well. i can tell a boy coon from their heads. The male has a larger head then the girl coon.
