National Pet Memorial Day

If you read any of Blogville's posts today, you more than likely have some in common with all of us - we've loved and lost a member of our family.  Of course, I think about my Piper all the time.  This is the very first picture I ever took with an iPhone!  It was a really big deal at the time.  Poor Piper was so patient while I tried to figure out how it even worked.  We were shopping for toys - perferably with stuffing and squeakers because she had so much fun gutting in order to find the squeaker.

Piper joined a long line of mostly Scottie dogs that were part of our family...
Mr. Mac, Lady, Shasta (cocker), Muffin, Windy, Sarah (parakeet), Limie (parakeet), Tess, Biscuit (bunny), Shasta (wired hair fox terrier), Honey (bunny), Waddie (cockatiel), Tammy, Brynn, Moira, and 'the boys' (strawberry finches).

All around Blogville, we are remembering Greta from Idaho Pug Ranch.  She has so many awesome stories posted over there, but our favorite was the PugRanch Tavern.  That post had us cracking up!  We're laughing just looking at this picture.
Greta joins Jazzi, who introduced Daisy to tacos and Blogville, and our scottie friend Sammy who both very recently crossed the bridge.  We hope everyone in Blogville has happy memories of their family members today!
