Post TG highlights

Daisy and I had so much fun getting ready for Thanksgiving dinner.  I took a little cruise and came back on Wednesday...we had a lot to do in a short amount of time!  Daisy always *thinks* she likes potato peels. After the first one, she remembers it's yuck and leaves it on the floor.  She'd rather eat a sweet potato!
My amazing brother caught 5 "Butterball Lobsters' {hahaha} and brought them for our dinner.  He had one live one and let Daisy investigate it.  She wasn't sure what to make of it...especially when it moved.
My brother, Geoff, deliciously contributing to our surf and farm (no turf) Thanksgiving.
Daisy snoopervising the turkey carving.  I think she approves of having lobster and turkey every day!
All the crew waiting for their Thanksgiving desserts.  My mom made them all making collars and they felt so proud of the festive look!  We had such a fun Thanksgiving and enjoyed 3 days of leftovers...yummmmmm.

Daisy will be having a blog hop on December 4 for Santa's List Day (thanks, Ranger, for discovering this!). Get your lists ready!!

Thanks {Blogville} Day

We had the best day today!  It was all about the millions of things we are thankful for.  It doesn't get any better than that - right?!  We spent the day with family and friends in summer like weather eating delicious food.  We are truly blessed with a bountiful life!
Today is a special day in Blogville.  Stanley and Murphy are hosting a blog hop about all the things we are thankful for!
Daisy and I are so thankful for YOU - because you are reading this post right now!  We really thought only a few people would even know about this little blog - not people all over the world would read about Daisy.

We are extremely grateful for each and every comment on this blog.  Jazzi was our first commenter, and we continue to have such thoughtful comments about Daisy's escapades.  We would really like to know the secret to how you comment on so many blogs!  We are always thankful for your comments (even more when we comment on your blog a few days after it's posted).

We are also thankful for all the Scotties in Blogville!  We are always surprised at how many Scottie lovers there are out there.  We thought it was only our family that loves Scottie dogs since we never seen anyone else with them!  Daisy is very thankful for her beau, Ranger!!

We hope you have a delicious and happy Thanksgiving!!

Every Blade

The grass is old enough for Daisy to play on now.  She had to check out the changes from behind the safety of the pink plant.
It was a little scary, so she avoided eye contact and walked around the new lawn.
Not even going a little peek.
After TEN minutes, she put her two feet on it.
Then, Daisy proceeded to sniff EVERY blade of grass.
She took a little break to watch a woodpecker.
Daisy went back to sniffing...
...and christening the new lawn.

Sleepover

Daisy is spending some girl time and having sleepovers with Dixie and Aly because...
Daisy and I are finally getting our new lawn!!
I know Daisy is going to love having real grass instead of dirt patches in her yard.
If she didn't feel the need to dig up anything new in the yard, she would be able to enjoy the new lawn already!

Election Day 2014

Voting is very serious business. Daisy had such tough choices for the new Blogville mayor that she had to have a nap. All the candidates are exceptional! How often does that happen? We love the fact that we both got to vote today and let our voices be heard! 🇺🇸

This is from "The Three Little Pugs"...

Good Friends:
We will be off the blog most of this week and will try to be back online on Friday at the latest. Tomorrow is our election here and then Mom is leaving to go with her daughter and son in law up to Iowa City to stay with Macey.  On Saturday we got some news that have worried our hearts, and we are hoping the multiple scans will prove them wrong.  I know all over blogville and the heavens prayers are being said for our friends and loved ones,  but we are wondering since such a brave little girl is involved if a few extra ones to travel above for her.

Last year Gussie tried to make a deal with his Santy Claus to make Tweedles better, and before we knew it she was on the road to recovery.  We are thinking we may need more than Santa Claus to make this happen.  I know each of you have our own belief's in the world and the powers from above, but we are wondering if at 8:20 AM on Wednesday if everyone on blogville could just stop for one moment and say a little prayer for Macey we would forever be in your gratitude.

I also am asking a second favor if you are comfortable with our request-- will you post it to your blog.  I will be reading them to Macey to help keep her distracted.  As soon as we know anything I will let one of you know by late Wednesday evening.

All our love and Friendship
Deb, Stella Rose, Margaret Mae, Angus Mac and Macey's Family
