Riverside National Cemetery

Our family went to Riverside National Cemetery this morning. This is the sight that greeted us at the entrance.
Every single grave had a flag thanks to the efforts of one thousand volunteers!
This is the view from where my Grandparents are interred.
Then, there is a parade of 7000 motorcycles all paying their respects. The streets and cemetery are lined with spectators. Some of the motorcycles had full size flags on them!
We are so grateful to live in the home of the brave. Happy Memorial Day!

  3. That's beautiful. Our relatives in Virginia help decorate the graves at Arlington Cemetery every holiday. What a great way to show how thankful you are.
