The Santa Ana winds have returned. It's hot enough for a skirt but too windy to wear one. The wind brought lots of sniffs while the heat made for lazing around.
Daisy is enjoying the time where I water at night and she catches bugs. Tonight, we saw a June bug. June in May. It obviously didn't have a calendar.
Our junebugs showed up in early April - dey don't go no calendars either!
ReplyDeleteMomma remembers da Santa Annas from when they lived in So Cal for a coupla years. Her girls wuz lil and dey wuz swimmers. Sometimes da winds was so gusty dey would blow da lil kidses off da startin' blocks and into da pool....oops!

I think I said it before but I love your Waverly cushions. I have window treatments in that material with a quilt and pillows and I have painted the flower design on furniture.
ReplyDeleteNow I love where Daisy is looking out over her yard.
Thanks for being a friend
