Daisy and I had a former student over to catch up before school started. She and Daisy raced around the yard for awhile, then she caught Lizzie, a baby lizard!
Daisy wanted some tips on how to catch one since she only seems to get their tails.
It was a lot to take in for Daisy. After practicing with no success, Daisy toon 40 winks and dreamed about catching her own Lizzie.
Our kitties are pretty good at catchin em. I pretty much ignore em.
ReplyDeleteWe've never been successful with our skinks either. Maybe it's a thumb thing.
ReplyDeleteOh I would be with you Daisy, I would luffs to catch my OWN lizzie lizard!

A Lizzie got caught and by one of your former students that you are helping. Bet that drove Daisy crazy. Wish we would hear from our little reader boy who moved back to the hills of Kentucky. We think about Timmy every day and wish he would send us one of the envelopes we addressed and stamped for him. Pray he is in school as the schools around us are back in session.
ReplyDeleteThanks for being a friend

Daisy I GOT A LETTER he is in school on the outside of Coxton, Ky. A school that goes to the eighth grade.
DeleteHis teacher, who has second and third graders thinks a lot of my Timmy.
His teacher wrote and posted the letter for him.
I am going to post a little about him in the future. I wanted your peep to know since she is a teacher.

I just like to play with ants and stuff. I don't know yet about catching anything.
