Piper

A year ago today, I said good-bye to my little pup, Piper.  She was smart and fun and full of 'scott-itude'.  She had the nicknames 'pokey-pony', 'seal', and 'salt and Piper'.  She was a great bug hunter and spaghetti on toast eater.  Piper loved the water more than any dog I know. She would make up her own obstacle courses to entertain herself and then cuddle with me at night.  Piper could out 'aarooooo' any Scottie out there.  I will always feel so lucky to have had such a paw-some Piper-pup!
Daisy and I toasted Piper tonight with her favorite...peanut butter in a Kong.

  7. Saying goodbye is one of the hardest things that we have to go through as dog parents, I think each one that I have lost, teaches me a lesson, that I pass on to the new one. Hugs a bunch.

  9. Well have a date in common. If you look at my header on my blog you will see that I put my last beautiful, wonderful, best companion ever Scot to rest on that very date in 2009.
My heart will never stop hurting. He was a very mystical Scot. Maybe some day I will blog about him.
