NYE 2014

Daisy squeezed in a long nap so she can stay up until midnight. 

We had quite an exciting NYE Eve... Because there was an actual real winter storm! We had temperatures cold enough to put SNOW on our mountains. 

We not only had freezing rain, we had major WIND! It helped make our yard a little bigger at 12:30 a.m.
Woohoo - Daisy now has a double yard!! What's funny is we have an extra yard and some missing shingles, but the outdoor Christmas decorations are just fine. Our 2014 sure went out with a bang!
We hope you are all rested and ready to bring on 2015.  It's going to be amazing!

    We haven't got snow on the Bradshaw Mountains yet this season. Maybe it will happen this week. It has only stuck here at home once in 12 years.

    Snow! It was 98°F here today. Supposed to be getting slowly hotter....

    Hope you enjoy your enlarged garden...at least until someone repairs the fence.

    Dat wuz sum windstorm... we's supposed to git sum nasty winter weather... hope not. Whit's Momma and my Daddy (well, he's really Whit's Momma's daddy) are goin' to San Antonio to see UCLA play in da Alamodome in the bowl game there... so we's hopin' fur no ice.

    We stayed up til 12 with our Man but our Lady wimped out and went to sleep by 11. That is a lot of adventure to start your year. We are glad the damage wasn't worse. All the best for 2015!
