Horsing Around

Daisy and I were invited to one of my student's horse competition today. We wished her good luck before she went into the arena.
She won first place in her first competition!
I am lucky enough to have taught both sisters and the lovely girl on the right in the picture above.
Daisy and DaVinci became fast friends.

They even shared some post competition carrots. A win-win for everyone! Daisy really wanted to go nose to nose, but I had to reign her in.

  4. Congrats on the win!! And how fun and exciting to get to meet a horse! I'll confess to being a little afraid of them, but I've a feeling Todd would want to meet one just as you did Daisy!

  8. I rode a horse in the foothills of the Himalayas. Pics on my page. I didn't even bark! You did good! Glad your girl got a blue ribbon. Hey, I hope you avoided the horse poop -a little dog can get lost in those piles.
